Awesome story. Full of suspense and intrigue. Can’t wait to get another book by this author.
Well, i wasn't sure what book I should read next; so, I perused my and picked this one! It is a story concerning Risgan, the Relic-Retriever, and his companions. Fresh off of a victory against the sorceress Afrid, Risgan wanders into Bazuur and into another adventure facing against a mysterious raider who riders a monstrous bird - the Isk of the title. This rider plagues the town by attacking the markets, the balloons that people ride to get to the markets, and so on.
I loved this story and all the characters in it. Risgan and his companions are a very entertaining crowd. Their wordplay is awesome and amusing. It is definitely worth the time to read this story!
